La Jassine Côtes du Rhône Villages Red Rhone Blend

This CDR is comprised of 63% Grenache and 37% Syrah. Made from fruit grown in the village of Valreas, where its north+west facing vineyards on the high slopes above the valley floor balance the dark berry flavors with a certain elegance.
The Stiffler's mom of wine, thick, busty but with an alluring finesse.

If you want black fruit, this is where they dance. Honestly, an amazing value. I will buy more of this for sure

Far too young now— needs a couple more years to age and mellow. For the impatient: Decant thoroughly.

Great value. Delicious taste that really opens up after long decanting. Still good (although a tad more acidic) several days after.

Smells ethanolic, light red fruit. Could use a bit more body

Dark and fruity with nice minerality.

Leather and barnyard nose, with cedar, chocolate, and full flavored. Absolutely gorgeous. Love the slightly dry and light tannins.

Used an aerator as the wine is still young and needed balance. Dark ripened berries and plums on the nose and tongue. Very 'jammy'. Medium tannins. Nice finish with slight grip. Excellent flavor overall. Well balanced with food or alone.
