Always one of my favorites. Drank this bottle at the end of a red wine testing and it was a great finish.

Big bodied Shiraz, drank right at its peak. Very concentrated grapes must indicate a warm growth season. Translated into massive flavor with very smooth tannins and nice full finish. Obvious fruit notes, but peppery. Excellent steak wine, deep purple coloring, defined legs, good bouquet, big finisher. Balanced all the way through. Great for both the experienced drinker and obvious enough for the novice. Not a first wine in a tasting series.

Quite a surprise for a Tuesday night. Gorgeous, still bright and tart, black cherry and cranberry and currant. Earthy mid palate. Soft. Might be on its way out but boy is it tasty tonight. The more it opens up and we eat it with grilled vegetables and beef, the more anise and eucalyptus come out. Wow this is good.
