So pleasantly surprised at how this has opened up on day two. I'd abandoned it last night as it left me totally unmoved; it was shy and awkward with a finish of wet moss and jutting acidity. Today a different story. Vibrant ruby in colour, pretty red fruits, plums and fruit back on the nose, sweet but not jammy raspberries, cherries and spiced plum on entry, palate flows nicely right through to a long finish with juicy, bright fruits, cherry-stone tang, ripe tannins and a touch of spice.
