It took about an hour or so to breath before I paired it with a prime rib. It had a great nose and went well. The bottle was done when the food ran out (it was a Magnum).

Another spectacular Cabernet from my favorite wineries in Napa. Had the 2012 vintage with some young Gouda an it really sets it off. Stil, it's a bit young in my mind and would be fantastic in a few years. Definitely standouts in my mind as one of the best cabs I've had in a while. Wonderful fullness with soft and integrated tannins. And layers of black cherry, blueberries and coca dance around your tongue as it is sipped. Gonna have it with some awesome authentic german goulash. A perfect finish to a nice day in the South Bay.
