Served with shrimp pasta pesto with heavy cream. The Patrimonia cut thru that heaviness well. Sure there are less expensive options but gosh it is a great tasting vintage. Kermit Lynch is the Man.

After a decant, quite nice. Interesting to think this is the same grape as Sangiovese. Meaty, botanical, bright red fruits. Enjoyable and fun to explore.
