Little eggy diaper funk up front but blew off to reveal notes of dried figs, oak, vanilla, and a dry dusty oxidized Tempranillo character that I love.

Rare as it is, very nice looking violet with carmin rim. Incredible aromas of red cherry scented talk or baby powder and wild berries. Great development on the palate; the wild berries, raspberry, cranberry, evident dusty texture, very dry wine, green coffee tasting firm tannins, nice grip but very educated and pleasant. Seductive finish of fine expresso coffee. This wine is still too young. Can lay down for another 6 to 10 years. 91 pts.
