Les 2009, dans le Rhône, s'améliorent sans cesse. Excellent millésime. Un Châteauneuf réglissé, tissé serré, excellent.

This is the Shalimar [Guerlain] of red wines.

Solid chateauneuf. Needs to breathe for awhile before opening. Pair with earthy food , red meat. That vintage was lacking the typical violet 2009 vintage tasted 2019

Cinnamon, plum, red currant and wet stone. In a nice spot right now.

Floralt och örtigt i näsan, mjukt och runt i munnen men välbehållen tanninstruktur. Örter. Silkig djupt röd frukt. Trevligt och gott. Borde funka toppen till en lammgryta.

Deep and smooth. Let it breath for a bit. Very nice.

efficient but not spectacular
