heavy-hitting barleywine! 10.2% alcohol, and you can tell, but not in a hot way - more of a rich, boozy, caramel-y way. this beer is *almost* too much, but for these darkest, longest days of winter - the name translates to “winter solstice” - it’s perfect. drinking it all on its own under a blanket on a cold night is just right. — 4 years ago
