The acid, the saltiness, the easy sipping. 13% alc. paired with chicken baked in garlic, butter, salt and pepper, fresh lemon, and a dash of this wine. Perfect. Lovely wine. While I’ve enjoyed domestic Nebbiolo in the past, this is my first time enjoying a true Piedmont Barbaresco. I love the medium body and drying tannins. Lately I’ve shied away from “big red” wines, and it’s so nice to find another red that I can heartily enjoy. I may have opened this 2014 too soon, but i still love this wine.
