Holy Mac Holerton!!! Something really... something... about this bottle. Normally, I'd say it's lacking in acid... Yet, Hey-Zeus! Everything is sooooo perfectly balanced... Although I was not familiar with this winery, the deep purple '07 Akóma Zoúme Cabernet Sauvignon 'Zeus - Mountain Terraces Vineyard' was a most pleasant surprise. Oaky dark cherry, dark chocolate and cassis aromas were prominent on the nose. The underlying complexity and supple tannins lead to a most satisfying finish of impressive length. — 12 years ago
