My go to Pinot. Never disappoints — 8 years ago
Fire out of the gate so I had high hopes. Now showing pretty poorly on day 2. There's hints of something there but too wound up. — 9 years ago

Passion fruit nose. Crisp, absolutely delicious. — 10 years ago
Not at all what I was expecting. I'd say more "glowing embers" than "fire" but excellent for a night playing board games with friends. Would buy again. — 10 years ago

Ripe red cherries, raspberries. Sweet spice, earthy, leather. Medium acidity, medium + tannin and body. Intense style of pinot. — 9 years ago
So delicious. Exactly what SB should taste like. — 10 years ago
Light, bright in glass. Delicate floral on the nose. Crisp and fresh on the palate with baked apple, and pear, rounded out with hints of vanilla. Really enjoyed it! — 10 years ago
Had the 2011 vintage. Beautiful nose. On the palette: leather, dark sour cherry, a little pepper-like heat, a little sort of wet forest type quality. Medium tannins that grip just the right amount. @Paz Master try this one by the fire on a rainy night in NYC. Perfect for that — 10 years ago
Excellent wine. Smooth and soft tannins. Gotta get this for dad — 11 years ago

Lovely notes of plum with a hint of mint, wine that deserves to be sipped slowly while sitting by a roaring fire in winter — 7 years ago
Dark, bold berry flavour. Great on its own on a cold night by a fire. — 8 years ago
For the first time since I could remember I actually had a wine transport me! Pintia wine is magical!! I felt like I was sitting by a fire somewhere in Colorado. Amazing! This was a 2010 vintage and it was magnificent. It had a dark crimson red color and strong earthy notes. Gamey and meaty on the nose, almost as if someone had brought a huge plate of steak to the table. Dark fruits such as plums and cherries on the palate. Medium acids and tannins as if they didn't even exist, that's how balanced and structured this wine is. Hints of vanilla from the oak and a long finish! Can't say enough about this wine! Glad I'm closing out my summer with this hearty and powerful wine! — 9 years ago
Ahhhh, a Provence Rose! It's a very warm night...82F and I'm sitting by my fire...so the perspiration is accumulating and I'm drinking a refreshing Rose that is perfect for a night like this! This Chateau La Moutete Grande Reserve is peach colored, with notes of very light florals, watermelon, and a Sauv Blanc-ness to it that reminds me of grapefruit on the nose. on the palate I get strawberry, black licorice, and a hint of basil. This wine is slightly acidic, especially on the finish (again, reminding me of a soft Sauv Blanc). No tannins, and a grape-fruity finish at the end. Even though my beloved Red Sox are losing to the Skankees tonight, I'm enjoying this fantastic wine! — 10 years ago
Restaurant description: "Dark, smoked malt-dominated nose, silky smooth finish, smells like a camp fire, tastes like bacon." Hyperbolic & accurate, all at once! — 10 years ago
