This vineyard can do no wrong in whomever's hands the fruit is bestowed. Day 1- Aromatic rock star, with a meek obtuse mouth. Day 2- mouth caught up. Dark, lingering, complex. — 10 years ago
This was a fun fine for Christmas snacks — 11 years ago
Delicious wine from a rare variety planted in a very unique site in the NorCal mountains. Not expecting the multitude of happy sensations received whilst imbibing. Shared with woman life partner. She seemed to enjoy as well. Spicy cove, tobacco, expired yet indelible black pepper ever present. 15 minutes in, dark fruit core begins to show. This wine is structured. Fierce, gripping tannin grabbed me like a thief in a dark alley. I really like the seriousness of this wine esp since it hails from a very unknown areas. It's nice right now but id like to see this wine in my glass in 3 years. 13.5%. — 8 years ago
The 2009 vintage was great. Subtle with good acidity. I really liked it — 8 years ago
Bright. Good acid balanced with proper blend finish. You can almost single out the Verdot. Quite good and organic to boot! — 9 years ago

For $29 retail, yeah baby. Wanted another reference point for the Halcón vineyard before I rip into my bottle of Jolie Laide. — 7 years ago
