Soft , great price — 9 years ago
Surprisingly delicious! Very carbonated -like a soda; sweet and floral but super easy to drink, missing a bit of bitterness or funk but for a cheap drink it's honestly great — 10 years ago
Genuine surprise - this is a nice comeback from their horrific 2015 Shiraz release. Smooth, silky though thin - full of berries and a slight hint of licorice spice. Yummy all in all — 10 years ago
Green apple and pear flavour. Pretty good. — 11 years ago
Three Grand Cru's BOOM! Just buy the one at the top! When you're talking $120 for the cheapest and $140 for the most expensive you may as well! The Blanchots steps it up a notch and punches above it's $ weight compared to the other two GC's. Poise, seamless integration with deceptively powerful lingering fruit separate it from the others. The Vaudésir is perhaps the most different in style of all the wines. Much fuller and rounder with a hint of overt oak, not in a bad way. Similar to the difference between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligy-Montrachet. Ageing potential of Chablis is insane. When I was working at Yarra Yering on the naughties we were buying 1970's GC Chablis by Testut & Frére by the wheelbarrow for less than a price of couple of bottles of Yellow Tail. Hoovered it all now, insanely delicious as 30 year old wine. The lower alcohol, fresher, acid driven styles of Chardonnay being made in Australia today make it a much smaller leap to the wines of Chablis. One worth experimenting with! Great peach taste! — 10 years ago
WOW! I bought this because it was a 2 bottles for $7 deal and I have to say I am very impressed! A very nice aroma of spices and dark berries. On the pallet you have similar notes with a hint of dark chocolate and smoke. All around great purchase and probably my favorite wine from [yellow tail]. — 11 years ago
