Loved this one! — 8 years ago
Really smooth to drink, not overly fruity. Full and a little bit of spice in your throat. We really liked it. It might even be one of our favorites! — 8 years ago

A mouthfull of yellow grapefruit with lovely acidity, minerality and a citrus peel finish. Fantastic! Year in year out this wine is a classic — 11 years ago

Wonderfully fresh, dry Riesling! — 12 years ago
Not usually a fan of Chardonnay, but this was a pleasant surprise. Very bright, and doesn’t taste too rich. Excellent chilled. Strong notes of green apples and pears. — 7 years ago
Year 2014, I love it! — 8 years ago
Fabulous!!! Christmas dinner with prime rib. marionberry fruit and white pepper and a warm spiciness - bit of nutmeg. New world/old world bridge kind of wine. — 9 years ago
Mom brought over a couple of bottles of this for the family event. Amazing! Just had the 2015 too and it's even better! — 9 years ago
My new favorite riesling. Dry enough to go well with sushi (and much better than any sake). — 10 years ago
This is like candied velvet sex. Combines the best part of an after work cocktail with a glass of ruby port. Maybe not the best with a meal, but on its own after or instead of dinner it is dynamite. Here's hoping the boys at DV start making more cases. — 11 years ago

A lovely red, good tannins, complex enough to be interesting, simple enough to be enjoyable — 12 years ago

Polished Cab Franc with well integrated wood notes, currants, black cherry, bramble, and herbs, coffee. Light green pepper. Had with meatballs with mushroom gravy and polenta. — 7 years ago
This past Saturday I attended a get together with close friends. We opened the 2014 Saarloos & Sons Family Tree Rhone Blend. 55% Grenache, 27% Mourvedre and 18% Syrah. This was the hit of the evening that turned heads and got people talking.
The nose was light with cherry, raspberry, plum, cinnamon, black pepper, anise, roses and an earthy gravel.
On the palate was beautiful fruit of black cherry, blackberry, plum, black pepper, anise , clove and a good gravel component.
The wine was soft velvety smooth with a medium mouth feel and medium to plus acidity with medium smooth tannin that leads to a medium long finish. A very enjoyable wine. Almost the weekend please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 8 years ago
Damn, this 2014 vintage is now my favorite WA state Zin, period! Yes, it's hot (16.9%), but Zin is usually hot. This is packed with big, jammy black fruit that eases into sweet leather and peppery notes. This is freaking great!! — 9 years ago
So good! Refreshing and light. — 10 years ago
2010 vintage - Intense black cherry, pepper and cassis on the nose with luscious blackberry and mocha flavors. Spicy, complex and terrific! — 10 years ago
