Paul T, Missing My Beautiful Wife 24/7
Thats too much math for Sunday🤔

Tastes like Prince's solo during the 2004 Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction of George Harrison on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, demeanor and all. Also kinda tastes like an Axl Rosé though too. This champ reminds me that some of my favorite things on this planet are pink. — 8 years ago

Top rosé of 2015 thus far! I can get more--provided my Garagiste request comes through. Oh heck. If you are into Riesling and if you are also into slightly subtle Pinot Noir you'll flip. If you like a red that is full but cold-blooded you'll get into it. This is my second time reviewing. And if my order is fulfilled won't be my last. What can you get? Here ya go: nose: gasoline raspberries roses(flammable but tasty/smelly) Tongue: medium plus acid a hint of tannin, medium plus alcohol n body and you get a cornucopia of fruit from cherries to grapefruit to an Asian pear to even more. The finish goes on long enough for me to say I'll be writing a whole blog entry at some point. When I get more bottles to think on. Ahem. — 9 years ago

2002 rose. Not smelly as brut. Fresh n just hints of flower. Superb mouth filling palate. It's the vintage. Drink. — 11 years ago
It's girly, but I love it. — 12 years ago
Tuesday night tastings going strong. I’m into this. It is so damn balanced and it changes and evolves n all that good stuff. Oh hell I’ll go WSET style:
Eye: clear medium salmon medium tears.
Nose: delicate intensity and smells like raspberries cranberries vanilla and some sort of green thing which is not a wset term but whatever it’s young
Tongue: dry, acid medium, alcohol medium plus? Checking...oh hell 14.5 so fuck yeah that’s big. Body is medium. Intensity of flavor medium and then you taste the things: peach Melba which is to say peach raspberry vanilla ice cream and then some stones n lavender. Finish medium plus I like it oodles. — 7 years ago

Insane! You would never guess this is from Cali. So good, compares well to some old school barolo.
Classic nebbiolo aromas of mainly rose petals at this stage. On the palate, more rose petals, tar, cherry and a bit of raspberry. Light body but firm tannins still. Made the mistake of pop n pouring, ideally need a few more years and definitely a decant. — 8 years ago

Dark raspberry , kirsch, rose petals , layers, freshness n light Asian spice on the lingering finish — 9 years ago

Bubbly Grenache wine is nice n dry. Lively acidity, fine bubbles. Tastes of strawberries, raspberries, toast, & yeast from aging 12 mo. In its bottle. Cannot say no given the price ($14). I've purchased at least 8 times. — 11 years ago
A very nice nice N/V Rosé Champagne for $35. Soft and delicate texture. Beautiful powdery chalkiness. Delicate volcanic minerals that penetrate. Raspberries, strawberries, black cherries, baguette crust, pink rose petals, good acidity and nicely balanced rich finish. — 8 years ago
C light pink, rose; N melon, peach, grapefruit; T mineral, grapefruit, peach, tropical — 9 years ago

Think I like this better than the last Miraval vintage which is to say, totally solid and yum grocery store avail rosé that when the warm weather beckons you can crack alongside your springtime frolics. But like, better than a lot of rosé. Maybe not on par w my faves but damn enjoyable. Okay WSET-(ish)analysis.
Eye: almost salmon
Nose: medium intensity raspberry meringue and an invigorated river
Tongue: medium plus acid, medium alcohol (13%) and medium plus bod for a pink. Flavors of raspberry foam, vanilla cream and, like big stones tossed into a cobbler, damn that is not technically wset but I’ll save those notes for the test I have coming. Anyway yum. Maybe I am too happy to drink a happy pink lime Miraval but I’m into this one about as much as I was the year I discovered it which I believe was the 2015 vintage. Yay. Go on now. Taste n tell me your thoughts. — 7 years ago
