Wonderful floral, earthy nose, with a mild oak. Well balanced fruit flavors, significant peppery spice lingers, again with solid French oak flavoring (as opposed to a heavy Napa Cab). A great transition to French wines for Zinfandel lovers. — 12 years ago

Dam is this amazing.... As far a Mencia goes this is the bomb! So ripe with dark plummy fruit, so bright and fresh showing that acidity belongs in red wine, so clean and chock full of minerality...
