Buy it by the case. Willy Wonka wonderland of rose. — 9 years ago
Behaves quite nicely although a bit austere. Don't know the condition of the vintage but I will bet for a late ripening, rainy September one. A bit harsh and green, this bottle was a monastically executed Latour. Cold and no fun. Austere but in a good way. Like Willy Wonka's dad in the movie....... — 9 years ago

This wine is what Cookie Monster would drink if he loved blue berries... And I f'n love blueberry fruit in wine... This is alcoholic, velvety... I drank it over three days... This is a Willy Wonka wine, that swells and gives like an everlasting gobstopper. — 8 years ago
Nice balance and fruit. Good mouth feel. Nice, moderately long finish. Excellent food wine. — 8 years ago

Like eating fruit grown by Willy Wonka. — 10 years ago
This is the first time that I have tasted the 2010 vintage of Willy, but I have certainly had about 10 other vintages in the past. By comparison, this vintage is super concentrated with amazing levels of pencil box and cedar and tobacco along with that underlying current of Barossa eucalyptus and licorice/tarragon. Super dense, super plush, and IMNSHO, not a wine to be paired with food. It dominates the plate. — 10 years ago
elegance and power with a mediterean spicy notes the Grand Cru of Provence by the glass atMaceo restaurant in Paris with mark Williamson of Willy 's Wine bar — 11 years ago
Was an excellent wine with a special flavour. Possibly because of the year but definitely a. Fruity fun wine to consider in the future. — 8 years ago
More Alsace Grand Cru Riesling to celebrate my engagement to my lovely fiancée. 😊❤️ We announced our engagement to close family tonight at a lovely Italian dinner at a small ten table trattoria and it's one of the best feelings of my life. Alsace Riesling is one of the first wines we bonded over and it feels so special to be drinking this now. Can't wait to drink many more bottles of it with her for the many years to come. Meyer lemon zest, a truckload of crushed river stones, underripe nectarine, some petrol character starting to show, and a bit of this lovely character that I can most closely describe as a fresh spearmint, anise, and bergamot tea vibe that I'm sure will reveal itself much more with time. The Gisselbrecht Alsace Grand Cru Riesling we drank a few days ago was also a Muenchberg and while this is a much more skillfully made example than the last (as to be expected from Ostertag), I can totally sense the shared terroir between them. Has that lovely juxtaposition that great Alsace Riesling has where it somehow simultaneously has heft and weight in body, and yet is still feather-light and nimble on its feet, due in part to the laser beam of acidity contained in this bottle. So pure, with razor-like precision. Very concentrated and tight and yet still so generous, would love to revisit in a few years to see some more development. So indescribably happy right now. 😊 — 8 years ago

A nice wine from Willy. A bit reductive on the nose but the pallet was full of red cherry and had a long finish. — 9 years ago

2014 - Brilliant, reflective, dark straw with a copper hue and a thin water white rim. Intensely aromatic, floral dominant, rose blossom, hibiscus, honeysuckle, subtle stone fruit and citrus, apricot, orange peel, and cantaloupe, a fleeting wisp of cigarette smoke. A dry wine but the mouth-filling perfume leaves a perception of sweetness. Medium plus alcohol lends a lingering warmth and viscosity to the palate. Medium plus acid and a touch of bitterness gives balance to the juicy ripe fruit aromas in the mouth. Fruit and floral aromas confirmed in the mouth with an additional hint of marmalade, and spicy ginger — 7 years ago
