Great structure and layered. Earthy, dark fruits, smoke. A very solid choice! — 9 years ago
Back to back years. I think '13 was better, brighter, sharper and a little more peppery. Wonder what the pros say? #winesathome — 9 years ago
Just amazing, wonderful wine! — 9 years ago
One of a kind and one of my absolute favorites. Winemaker and Propertier's notes: "Pinot Meunier takes its name from the French word Meunier, which means miller in English, because of the white, flour-like appearance of the tip of its foliage. The delicate structure of this Estate grown varietal is a good match for grilled fish and other light foods." On a side note, enjoy now or cellar for 5-7 years. — 11 years ago
Awesome. Cherries, rose petals, and (strangely) some orange zest. — 11 years ago

Light berry on the palate. Very thin and light cherry on the nose. — 7 years ago
Better on day 2. Solid Willamette Pinot but $50 price tag makes this a difficult re-buy. — 8 years ago

Terroir. Lean and spicy. Wish I had more. — 11 years ago
The nose offers attractive floral aromas of rose petal, violet and cassis bud followed by bright red fruits and hints of spice. This is a well-balanced wine with polished tannins, bright acidity and a juicy finish. Strawberry, raspberry, and licorice permeate the palate on entry and evolve into herbal flavors and a touch of pepper. An extraordinarily versatile style of Pinot Noir that will pair well with everything from grilled salmon, to roasted chicken, to pulled-pork sandwiches, to coq au vin and beef carpaccio. Very approachable now and for another five years; its exceptional balance makes it a good candidate for aging at least ten years. — 11 years ago
Great Pinot. Light and delightful — 7 years ago
Great Pinot Gris with fruit from Bishop Creek and Whistling Ridge vineyards, Willamette AVA. Willakenzie soil. Neutral French acacia and oak barrels. Only 380 cases produced so if you can find it - buy it! Delicious. Apple and pear. Soft on the palette. Touch of honey. Morphed as it aired. — 7 years ago
Each bottle is better than the one before. Great spice , earth tones and fruit! — 8 years ago

Beautiful. Layer. Delicious! — 9 years ago
With Fireside pizza!!! — 10 years ago
I really the the philosophy behind these wines. Made by Mike Etzel and Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, the fire comes from Jory soils, the flood from willakenzie . A powerful, big, and unmistakably new world pinot -- but remarkably balanced and not without grace. Fleshy raspberries, cinnamon, and scorched earth. I could drink many of these -- if however they weren't so aggressively priced... — 10 years ago
My favorite "white made from red" wine I've had to date. Sharp finish, clean lines, aromatic. @willakenziewine #delectableapp — 11 years ago
10,000 case small producer Laurent from Bordeaux and Danielle from napa met in Oregon archery summit and willakenzie — 11 years ago
Al Shikoh

Bright medium yellow in color with aromas of lemon, green apple, and white flowers. The palate is driven by racy acidity and stony minerality. Combines fruit from predominantly Nekia soils in Salem’s Bunker Hill, Eola-Amity Hills including Lingua Franca Estate Vineyard, Yamhill-Carlton, and a small contribution from Laubejac Vineyard near Monmouth in Willakenzie soils. Very pleasant entry level wine. 13% ABV. $35. — 7 years ago
