earthy minerally limestone taste, certainly earthy
clay. Clear vinegar as often seems the case with these earthy ones, not overpower in.
almost a subtle cherry or candied cherry, in the smell which comes through even more in the taste. , floral like wildflower. well balanced and maybe a little on the sweet side. sometimes almost feels dominated by by the sweet cherry notes, but usually nicely balanced. Went well with jura erguel cheese (Swiss raw cow's milk) — 8 years ago

Translucent garnet. Wildflower potpourri, cedar, dried cherry, blackberry, leather and herb nose. Palate consistent. Faint dry tannins on the finish, aging on its acidity. Absolutely gorgeous, especially at the price. — 10 years ago
Golden colour. Charming minerality, hey, apple and wildflower tones in kind of rustic, but long and very pleasent pallet. Wine outside comfort zone but therefore very fascinating. 91p — 10 years ago

A wall of cedar coated in turbinado crystals, sweet tea, vanilla mist, wintergreen and wildflower honey up the two-hole. Really a gorgeous array. Orange blossom honey, pine nut, rock candy, lemongrass, cocoanut, cocoa powder, soft vanilla, sweet tobacco, coffee candy, brickle notes, squash blossom, poppy flower, and the worlds most perfect raisin. As delightfully indulgent as drifting carelessly down a clean river in spring and being enveloped in an endless array of budding flora! — 9 years ago
Oh whoa, this is amazing. Smooth smooth smooth, complex honey-ish/wildflower notes, light crisp pear finish. No clue what cocktails I can make with this, but I think I'll just be drinking it over ice. — 9 years ago
An amazing varietal and to have a 100 percent Varietal if this kind is very unique. Wonderful strawberry and wildflower bouquet! Light weight and clean finish! — 10 years ago

NYE bottle 4 - when things start to get real: luscious and bright. There was a little bit left in the bottle which I tasted 2 days later; simply wildflower honey — 9 years ago
From taste: lovely piercing orange liqueur and wildflower aroma, cardamom and cinnamon, intoxicating, clear and beautiful nose. Chalky minerality on palate, fine grained, grippy tannins, great harmony and spicy orange deliciousness. Shows well the softer side of this exuberant vineyard, and of barolo, and exudes excellent balance with a combination of sweet cherry fruit, sophisticated tannin, and zesty acids. Could use more mid-palate punch, but nevertheless a buy and a keeper for 8-12 years. $58. — 10 years ago
Very nice brunello for a good price point from a great vintage. Leathery body with some wildflower and elegant cooked cherry on the nose and a classic brunello finish. — 10 years ago

Admittedly the first Sauternes I’ve ever had but I loved this. Honey, marmalade and sultanas, tastes of wildflower honey and corn flake cereal. Long and luxurious on the finish — 7 years ago
