New grape for me, Gamay de Bouze. As it was told to me this is indeed Gamay on steroids, and like its crossed with Cabernet Franc. Wild strawberry, pepper and spice notes, and licorice. The Savory
This is a fantastic bottle of wine for the money. After a hard and somewhat disappointing afternoon of tasting this little beauty from Club W stepped up to the plate and really saved the day. It was musty, earthy, with wild strawberries, oaky vanilla, and a real sense that this wine was made on a farm. $18 is an absolute steal.
