Love it, this one is in my wheelhouse, ripe fruit and smokey fatty bacon on the nose. Lots of spice and a good amount of acidity. Good length on the finish, this one is a nice surprise and at $16 I would buy again. Goes really well with Italian sausage and black olive (or mushroom) pizza. — 11 years ago

I had not visited this wine in several year but took the opportunity to do so today. Boy was that a great call. While the nose was tame the flavors are of dark cooked fruits and the tannins, sweet. The alcohol serves as a prefect envelop to deliver the complex layers of this voluptuous sexy wine which can hold your attention for a 30 finish which might be beyond the attention span of @Bill Bender but well within @Roman Sukley wheelhouse.
