This wine is a vinous gift to the world. What a nose. Mineral, bath soaps, lavender soap, sage, black currents, grapefruit, all dancing with each other in perfect vividness. Stunning aromas. The palate is perfection. Juicy and pure with a perfectly judged kiss of sugar. An outrageous, holy shit bottle of Schuerebe. — 8 years ago
Grassy, mineral, waxy, light petrol aspects. Improving as it warms. Notes to be updated.
24hr Update: Very grassy and yellow stone fruit-ish, still picking up a beeswax like note, but wow the acidity is just so balanced and awesome. Yet I feel this is too young now, note to future self, revisit in 3-5 years. — 6 years ago
Amazing for a fat vintage. — 10 years ago
So good. Grapefruit and sage abound on the nose. As well as mineral and some sort of appealing vulcanized rubber. Deep nose and even some florals. Palate is so clean it’s like spring water of Scheurebe. So damn mineral, juicy and balanced. Terrific finish and energy. — 6 years ago
Super aromatic and stony. Even a skoche of honey. Amazing for the price point. Really just compelling and chewy dry Riesling for so cheap it's almost comical. — 9 years ago

Nose is herbal and gorgeous with huge minerality. Lovely sugar snap peas, some C.K. Some confectionary aromas and just a beguiling whirlwind of so many non fruit aromas it’s hard to pinpoint them. A feral element as well but is so clean, so pure. It smells like the cleanest nature scene you can imagine. Yes it smells like a Bob Ross painting. Juicy and very complex with just a waterfall washing feeling across the palate. The balance of the fruit, minerals, acid and texture is extraordinary. Such delineation and grace. Stunning wine. — 6 years ago
