Had the 2015 in Stuttgart. Very good. — 9 years ago
An impromptu meet-up in Stuttgart yielded a little 16' riesling study - Breuer vs. Aldinger. Rheingau vs. Württemberg. Both warmer regions in Germany and from a more generous vintage. Having said that, the Breuer stood out for rising above the appellation and vintage!
The Nonnenberg's so elegant and juicy. Had more drive and finish than the Aldinger Marienglas. On the nose, grapefuit, pear, hints of passionfruit, white florals, herbs. The palate is crazy juicy with a beautiful mix of citrus and wet stones. Finishes with a zing and a touch of creaminess. It's extraordinarily elegant for the region (as Breuer usually is!) and vintage. Can't wait to revisit this wine after some ample cellaring time. — 6 years ago

Fabulous! Had with a French classic Boeuf Bourguignon. Stuttgart 2008. Bold and smooth. — 9 years ago
A revisit 2 years later and nicely developing with additional silkiness and finesse. The whole cluster component adding exotic spices and complexity. — 9 years ago
I’m new to Austrian wine, usually enjoying non-NZ SB’s. This is lovely. — 7 years ago

Picked up by the Cakes when in Germany in the spring of 2017. Especially good after 3 to 1 win over Stuttgart Academy. — 8 years ago

Having in Frankfurt :) — 9 years ago
Phenominal. Can't say enough good about this white. The ONLY reason I don't give it a ten is because the Orange from Kivel Stadt is just a tad better! — 9 years ago
