Deep intensity of aromas: Black Forest gateau, savoury spices, body odour earthiness. Mineral and metallic. Some smokey aromas. Complex and deep. On the palate, dry, medium plus acidity, full bodied, medium tannin - ripe and rich. Satin mouthfeel. Long rich finish. Lovely. Much more impressive than the Knipser Cuvée X from the same vintage.
