Super impressed with how this overdelivered at $20. Drinking great with a few years of bottle development- tons of the classic petrol and mineral notes (as expected since this bottling is named for the ideal fossil/limestone soil found in Spreitzer’s vineyards). — 3 years ago
Almost 2 years since I’ve had this. What a wine. Gorgeous nose of herbal vegetables that are so so fresh. Dynamic mineralIty on the nose with also a hint of fat. Palate is elegant and mineral with wonderful juiciness and a haunting opulent yet undeniably fresh texture. Age has really helped this be fully expressive. Great balance and purity. — 5 years ago
Lovely nose. Cherry flowers and spatburgunder. Palate is so fresh. Lovely bright cherry with some depth. Very very Juicy. Mineral. Nice long finish with a hint of licorice. Really really delicious. This is an early ripening variant of Pinot noir. Bought from Fass Selections. Some savory elements starting to come out at 60 minutes. Oh Wow. It’s getting even better. Nose is chambolly. Palate has awesome texture. Sweet fruit. Mineral. Spice. Wow. — 6 years ago

Our final lunch in Cairns last Sunday for the boys weekend away. A wonderful lunch at the Salt House on the Cairns waterfront. No formal notes. Pepik is the 2nd label of Josef Chromy from the East coast of Tasmania. Red fruits on nose and palate with a little white pepper. A good match with the superb seafood curry. — 3 years ago
Schatzi Milan ny. 12% abv. Rheingau. VDP. Tricken. Citrus rind. Tart and round sweetness in the back. Hint of bitterness which is just enough for me. Very acidic but it works. Highly recommend for the price! — 4 years ago
Excelente, muy tipico para Grüner Veltliner, seco, aromatico, especiado — 6 years ago
Such a great bottle. As good as it is when popped and poured hours and days open make it even better. Big cherries and dead dried leaves with some moss and mineral funk. Lovely pure aromas. Spices as well. Drinking so well now. Super fresh and sweet cherry fruit and wonderful balance and purity. Elegant and beautifully balanced wine. — 6 years ago

Excellent Riesling which is extremely easy to drink. Very sweet, almost like fruit juice. Mild subtle sparkle. [Waitrose] — a year ago
