Macaroons from France to pair with this wine... Erich Bradley we are so privileged to know you! Fucking fabulous. (I told everyone one word descriptor...). Bananas. Maraschino cherries. The perfect end to a beautiful meal. — 10 years ago

2011 vintage. Great complex nose of wet straw, golden apples and spicy herbs. Perfect example of a reserve style at 5 years of age. Wunderbar! — 10 years ago
With light freshness and subtle fragrance from early spring mowing, the wine lies on the tongue tip like a mild kitty. The long and lingering finish carries exceptional and totally unexpected tannins. Well worth it's price. — 11 years ago
Erich Bradley's newest side project, Texture... This is some seriously great Pinot. — 11 years ago
Kaffir lime leaves, the dashing of rocks against the Saar river, and just a whiff of a sunflower floret. This honest wine from Erich Weber in the Mosel is the liquid equivalent of 'Blue Sky'. Take that Walter and Jesse. -DM — 11 years ago
American Pinot is every bit as ageworthy as the best of Burgundy. Nice vintage, Craig and Erich. — 9 years ago

And yes - those are latkas with that Riesling! — 11 years ago
I'm not sure if Erich Weber's wines are as complicated or complex as some of the "important" wines of the Middle Mosel, and besides, i've only ever drank them very young, but they are extremely pure, perfectly balanced (which is saying something in the modern era of Riesling,) very delicious, they sing at the dinner table, and they speak perfectly of the lower Saar valley. Besides which, they have that leafy green flavor that I adore. So really, what more could you possibly ask?? — 12 years ago
