Very ripe and powerful. Not at the end yet. Had it with Spagetti and sautéed prawns with a rich crustacean butter. Slight tones of vanilla and lots of ripe yellow fruit — 9 years ago
Very dry, great with shellfish, delicious version of Riesling that defies the sweet reputation. — 9 years ago
2019 vintage. Medium body. This was banging. Golden impressions on the edges/borders, ripeness as the central core. A sprinkling of acidity holding everything together. So good. Courtesy of @Pinotman /// Andreas. Thank you, Andreas!! 6.2.26. — 3 months ago

This is a great value Spätbergunder. Getting lovely blackberry, pepper and herbs. It’s a delicate wine, but almost a bit meaty to smell. Medium bodied, nice level of tanin, creamy finesse it leaves a lovely peppery warmth. For a Gutsabfüllung it’s great.

Generous and big so different from the Greiner Chard. This essentially tastes like a rich white Burgh at 50% off. Quince, hint pineapple touch bitter, Too bad it is crew cap because otherwise it would have more curb appeal. German Chards just beat white Burghs on price. They really do…. — 19 days ago
