Highly aromatic, apricot, full-bodied, medium alcohol. — 6 years ago
Compared to my first impression I had when I tasted this boy back in November last year for the first time, the oak appears a bit more present, especially on the palate. Curious to see if & how it will integrates over the next years. Nevertheless a cool, focused Chardonnay which is definitely one of the best examples of this grape variety out of Germany. — 7 years ago

These are Ott Gruners are exotically rich and textured, structured with actual tannins and whopping acidity, and possess incredible flavors ranging from tropical fruits to citrus, along with intense minority. Really unique among Gruners, these are the most fascinating white wines I've had in some time. This '11 is more structured, while the 12 is richer and even more textured. — 9 years ago
A touch of grapefruit, some apricot & green apple, loads of herbs. On the palate with great depth & good structure, with nice weight, juicy acidity and an elegant, long finish. This is good stuff! — 5 years ago

Breaktime from Xmas shopping with a refreshing lift from the Isarco Valley. Kerner is a personal favorite. With its lilting crisp acidity, white florals, honey, slate, and ripe green apple. Tiny bit of flabbiness which I'll chalk up to a bad vintage but makes up for it with a reasonably long finish. — 7 years ago

Visited Huber Winery today and tasted 15 of their estate wines. This one really surprised me with forest floor, spice and black chocolate notes. 24 months aging in 60% new French oak - predominately cab and cab franc from clay soil. Old world style with long finish. This would be a great wine to put in a blind tasting of Bordeaux blends. — 9 years ago
Pretty damn delicious if you ask me. — 9 years ago
Smoky notes, which is something I seem to detect often in the German Pinots I have tried thus far. — 9 years ago
