Great dry Riesling. Decent acid and lemon flavor. Strong Riesling typical gasoline smell. — 9 years ago
Loverly. The legend of the Brachetto wine says that it was the wine that Marc Antony and Julius Caesar presented to Cleopatra to win her favor. The wine unleaded her passions. It sure unleaded mine! — 10 years ago
A small, family-owned winery, owned by Antony Beck a native South African wine producer who began Angela Estate in 2006. Antony created the winery as a celebration of his wife, Angela and their five children. Made with estate fruit, aromas of fruit, floral & spice. Juice flavors of raspberry and strawberry with licorice and spicy pepper notes. Fine tannins on lingering finish ending with bits of cacao. Give this a few more in the cellar. — 7 years ago
Drank at Lutes's at Thanksgiving on 11-24-2016. Vintage N/A. Thanks to Tommy's Euro friends - Julian, Marine and Antony — 8 years ago
There is an intriguing story behind this label—Angela winery is owned by South African couple Antony and Angela Beck, who also happen to own Graham Beck. The couple reside in Kentucky where they focus on thoroughbred horses. Corinthian is named after one of their champions and this luscious Rutherford Cab was vinified at Opus One. No surprise that it is pure hedonism in the glass. Glossy plums, black currants and graphite notes meld into a wine framed by ripe, silky tannins and liberally dusted in mocha, espresso powder and plump blue fruit. 15.5% ABV — 10 years ago

Turns out he’s still really good at wine old Antony. Muscular and taut. — 7 years ago
Recommended by a staff member at Laurenz when we asked for the best non-Huber Spatburgunder they had. Apparently this was the imposter at a Bugundy tasting they had last year (featuring DRC, Rousseau, etc.) and no one picked it up. Not the most definitive sign of quality, but still gotta taste it.
Very elegant. Limestone site shows! Definitely more extracted than the Furst we had (then again, this is St. Antony's top Pinot), more structure, some darker fruits, but still sporting plenty of drive. Really enjoyed it. 25% new oak, 25% stems. Definitely can see this holding it's ground against some village or even PC burg. — 8 years ago
2003. At first surprisingly sweet smell, and it's followed in the mouth by glycerol-sweetness. It has a nice balance after all, strong acid keeps it fresh. At its top now, but probably still for long. Glass cork. — 10 years ago
From the magnum. Has developed a bit, still a great wine! — 10 years ago
