I can see the quality here and am going to rate it as such, but I couldn't get past the nose which was a combination of deer piss and manure. The taste made up for the smell, but gawd dayum that nose. — 7 years ago

Sparkling rose from Mosel. Genius. Absolutely delicious candy notes, drinks way too fast. Already wish I'd bought a backup bottle. — 9 years ago
Honey and melon and mint undertones. Unusual d'Yquem - missing the smooth creaminess I am accustomed to. Great but different. — 10 years ago

Even with the 2014 vintage, I am supremely happy. Plum/blueberry maybe with some chocolate hints. A very soft finish and a little sweeter than many big cabs. Well done. — 7 years ago
Who am I to criticize a bottle of Mouton Rothschild? Amazing, no doubt. But didn't feel balanced. Great funk on the nose. High acidity and overall mild. — 8 years ago
Beethoven conducted his 9th Symphony here. Or at least I was told! Smoky Pinot from Austria @rxwinelab — 9 years ago
I have had the meiomi 2011 Pinot on multiple occasions and it has now become my go to wine. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Caymus and the sommelier at our local Safeway recommended this wine. The Meiomi doesn't taste like your typical light Pinot. It is very full in flavor, rich, and has a smooth finish. All in all this my go to everyday wine if I am not feeling adventurous to try something new. — 9 years ago
Really nice, light & flowery. Great summer evening red — 10 years ago

Very nice rosé — 9 years ago
These are Ott Gruners are exotically rich and textured, structured with actual tannins and whopping acidity, and possess incredible flavors ranging from tropical fruits to citrus, along with intense minority. Really unique among Gruners, these are the most fascinating white wines I've had in some time. This '11 is more structured, while the 12 is richer and even more textured. — 10 years ago

Youthful, yet starting to show a bit of age. Nose is youthful blackberry with pepper.... not a lot of sign of age just by the nose alone. Entry is a black cherry that has been dusted in sweeter tobacco. Iodine. A hint of mint to the middle and finish. I am amazed at the amount of tannin that is still on this bottle. This is a very nice balance of old and young. In a very good spot. Top 3. — 5 years ago
