Powerful. Rich. Brilliant acidity. Just the balance you want. Orange peel, honey, rosemary, stone, blood orange. — 7 years ago
Even with the 2014 vintage, I am supremely happy. Plum/blueberry maybe with some chocolate hints. A very soft finish and a little sweeter than many big cabs. Well done. — 8 years ago
Who am I to criticize a bottle of Mouton Rothschild? Amazing, no doubt. But didn't feel balanced. Great funk on the nose. High acidity and overall mild. — 8 years ago

I have had the meiomi 2011 Pinot on multiple occasions and it has now become my go to wine. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Caymus and the sommelier at our local Safeway recommended this wine. The Meiomi doesn't taste like your typical light Pinot. It is very full in flavor, rich, and has a smooth finish. All in all this my go to everyday wine if I am not feeling adventurous to try something new. — 9 years ago
Had this gem at Hearth, NYC. Spectacular juice. — 9 years ago
Honey and melon and mint undertones. Unusual d'Yquem - missing the smooth creaminess I am accustomed to. Great but different. — 10 years ago

Saturated gold with orange notes; ripe pear, papaya, pineapple, cinnamon and cardamom, honey, v trace rubber and slight oxidation; unctuous and perfectly balanced med sweet, tingly acid, integrated alcohol to back it up (11.5%). Perched between young and old, bright and contemplative. — 8 years ago

I can see the quality here and am going to rate it as such, but I couldn't get past the nose which was a combination of deer piss and manure. The taste made up for the smell, but gawd dayum that nose. — 7 years ago
Cherries and nice acidity... Served it with Nona's homemade ravioli and was delicious! — 7 years ago

Robert Lim
Pretty serious wine, the prettiness almost overshadowed by a ramrod-straight backbone of acidity. Probably meat-friendly with the right preparation? — 7 years ago
