Old school rustic Italian, quite dark fruited, salty. Medium body. Very tannic on the back end, very structured wine. Substantial acid. Needs a couple hours of air to come together and show properly. Pair with 🍝 for a pretty pretty good time. // turns into something special on day 2 — 7 years ago
Really lovely! Soft and smooth. Not too sweet. We had with Nikolay and Julia. — 8 years ago

Already showing some maturity in its colour. Having recently had a Pinot-like Nebbiolo now it’s the turn to have a Nebbiolo-like Pinot. Improves with airing, hints of orange peel, jasmine on the nose. Delicious midweight body and all allusions on the palate like a proper good Pinot should be - mineral, a hint of oak, refreshing red fruit. Not quite as good as their Chardonnay which is world class, but a very delicate, perfumed expression of the grape. — 8 years ago
2013 vintage. First time ever that I taste this wine. Wine was closed and showed little. High upfront minerality and pleasant acidity. Dropped a considerable amount of tannins. Backward fruit and quite a good burn. Need to get a vertical on this. — 8 years ago
This has been open for a week. Such an unbelievable wine. The sugar isn't over the top, the acid balances it. The flavors are out of this world. I usually don't write much but I couldn't let this one go. The finish is probably 2 minutes. If you can find this, please treat yourself! — 8 years ago
