Bright acidity, sour cherry, leather/mocha, mineral and earth notes. Just a lovely Burgundy from La Cave Wine Warehouse! 12.5 ABV — 8 years ago
I like this wine. It has good fruit, and is full-bodied. Some tannins, but not overpowering. Picked this up for around $16 at a local warehouse club. I think it normally retails for $20-$25. Excellent quality for the $16 price point. — 8 years ago

Cherries Bolivian blend coffee oak leaves — 12 years ago
Charming, textbook mature Chinon with freshly ground black pepper and barely ripe raspberry. With air, a more exotic spice profile unfurls alongside earthy and floral flourishes. Fresh and lively in the mouth, with lightly gripping tannins promising another decade of aging potential. A compact wine, but complex, and complete from nose to finish. Imported by Louis Dressner, this vintage was purchased recently at Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. — 8 years ago

Cured - Will And Coral Frischkorn
A new surprise from local warehouse. Presents itself at first like a light gamay but lingers into the pinot direction and stays there.
I feel much better about this than some reviews floating around. — 10 years ago

Fantastic wine! Gift from wine rep Laura at Wine Warehouse. — 10 years ago
Scuffed up label as this was "found" in a warehouse move. Here's the point: Federspiel from 2007 aging and behaving beautifully. The discussion about the age ability of Gruners is ongoing, but needs to be considered not just for "premier", "Smaragd" or "reserve" bottllings. This wine still has a lovely acidic zip countering the increasingly complex typical Gruner notes. — 10 years ago
Tried many sherrys in Jerez and surrounding areas in the last 5 days, and this is one of my favorites - tasted in the winery's main cellar/warehouse, where they also sell most of their wines to locals for a low price per liter in your own bottle! 4 Euros per liter for their Oloroso, for example! — 11 years ago

After 4 days in a decanter it’s dried leaves, barnyard, and a touch of bourbon aging warehouse. On the same level as Gravner if not better. — 7 years ago
