Bright cherry and cassis flavours, soft notes of toasted oak, tobacco and graphite. Well judged acidity and perfectly balanced mid-palate is giving way to beautiful rustic, savoury secondaries. This is currently drinking at peak, IMO.
Served at cellar temperature which was a good choice considering the heat here in Holland. — 9 years ago

An amazing summer beer with spice, hops, and good body. So much flavor from a great Michigan brewery. — 10 years ago
I feel like I need some gingerbread cookies, this beer is an outstanding example of what Michigan breweries have to offer. Even the seasonal beers are great. This one have just enough pumpkin and spice to give you that warm holiday season feeling. Give it a try! — 10 years ago

Not giving much at 1st. Opened nicely after 45 minutes. Earthy herbal dark fruits with a touch of vanilla. Silky tannins. Overall yum with a big finish. With grilled herb marinated chicken kabobs with cremini mushrooms, Mayan sweet onions and holland red peppers. — 10 years ago
