Sooooo much happening on the nose here walnut, blood orange marmalade, creme caramel, 400 year old oak sideboard that's recently had a beeswax polish 😉 baked banana, old oak barrel cellar, spiced pineapple, cinnamon dusted apricot pastry, peaches in cream. In the mouth the first shot is pretty full on alcoholic hotness but as the mid palate rolls over the crest of the hill a huge intensity of dried fruit sweeps through your palate with a huge freshness of spicy tropical fruits then on the finish the nutty notes come through, caramel drizzled over walnuts, white truffle oil. Gorgeous! — 9 years ago

Banshee doesn't just make solid, approachable wines, but also makes of these interesting weirdos like this little guy. I can only imagine when they cracked into this barrel of wine at whatever other winery they bought it from... It tastes like a standard buttery chardonnay where something went awry - to fantastic results! Some oxidation like character with black walnut mixes here with cream and ripe, buttery apple flavors. Very strong and powerful. Cool wine from a cool winery. — 9 years ago
Aromas of pineapple, Apple, coconut, walnut. Crisp and fruity, solid structure. — 9 years ago
Smooth wine Will be buying this one again — 9 years ago
Reddish purple in the glass with aromas of cinnamon, cola nut and strawberries. Fresh and juicy with great acidity; the front palate hits with black cherry, tart cranberry and more baking spices. The mid palate carries some woody, earthy notes that finish with black tea, porcini mushrooms and fine grained, silky tannins. — 9 years ago
Nice Pinot Noir — 11 years ago

Round, creamy structure after the most bright citrus, floral bouquet on the nose. White violet, lemon followed by earthy, toasted walnut. If you're reading this, you understand that this wine jumps across all spectrums. The toasted walnut finish is wild. — 8 years ago
