2005 Schrader Beckstoffer To Kalon CS. Dinner at Mast. We should have decanted sooner. Only decanted for an hour or so while, once we sat down to dinner. Opened up a lot as we ate dinner. Super rich and flavorful. Definitely decant longer next time — 6 years ago

This is a powerful deep Pinot that somehow reminds me of Oregon, even though it's from the Anderson Valley.
Decanted for 45 minutes and served slightly chilled.
Sour candied cherry, vanilla, spice and some earth on the mouth which is quickly followed by strawberry, sage and pepper. — 8 years ago

Beaufort, SC’s Old Bull Tavern spinning Marvin, Jimmi, and Stevie while casually offering up perfect garlicky oil bathed snails set upon crazy freshly baked chewy sour dough simply screams for, oh yeah, the wine. This fine Pomerol waits, wanting , her dangerously dark scarlet skin shimmers as she spins in the early evening tempted by the tunes revealing her marooning shades, darker bleeding berries, showing lighter in the wafting inconsistency of candle light. Another spin , a tilt, a voyeur’s gaze, a twirl, and a first kiss’ earthy wet spice on the front succumbs to plum its well-balanced acid clutches begging another spin, The I sip slow seductive deep kiss as she floods forward - I swallow, but she clings slowly, gradually, teetering touching sliding slowly, stealthy, soothingly, seductively signaling - have another hit... 07' Marcassin. I'm reading some of these reviews? This wine was just released 4 years ago. I know Helen waits to release her wines. You have to decant this wine! Would you decant a young great Burgundy wine? The rough edges dissipate immensely...becomes this giant luscious fruit bomb. Just my opinion.
