This 2005 was very impressive. I've been disappointed with 05 Washington wines and their aging. This Betz is the best 05 aged WA wines I've had yet. Does not taste over the hill at all, beautiful — 9 years ago
Nice cocoa coffee notes to dance amongst the deep cherries. Silky WA texture. — 10 years ago
One of the best WA Syrahs of the past few years. It has now hit it's prime drinking window, with savory blue fruits and an extended finish. Absolutely delicious. — 10 years ago

As a tribute to hawks I declare this WA wine night @Jim Trobaugh join me - good and starting my Saturday night smile exercises — 9 years ago

Very cool to see WA producers making Spanish varietals. 90% tempernillo, 10% graciano, this wine tastes like a riserva tempernillo, with a little more structure and heft. Black currants, oak, tannins all pair well with the delicious steak served at Joule. Looking forward to trying more of Pomum's wine! — 9 years ago

Best WA Cab i can remember having. Complexity all over the place. Old world Bordeaux nose. Perfectly balanced palate. Slate, cinnamon, vanilla, stewed black fruit, tart cherry, tobacco, moderate tannins. So happy with this. All that for around $100. Happiness in a glass(es) on a Friday night — 9 years ago
