I'm not big Chardonnay fan. I'd get this one again in a heartbeat. (v 2010) — 8 years ago
Not too oaky, a lot of flavor but it's not overwhelming — 8 years ago
Still -- hell, more than ever -- the best riesling producer in the new world aside from Grosset. Better than most old world producers too. Subtle petrol, heavier on the river rock and slate, with ripping acidity that pares the musky apricot, tropical fruit and lime down to the barest, leanest essence. So dry it makes FX Pichler look like Columbia Crest, and a glassy, electric finish that goes for minutes. Considering his 2006 is still probably a decade away from maturity, this is also young by a fair piece, but far from hard to drink. And I'm not just saying that because it's my wife's and my wedding wine. Shoulda been there, suckers. — 9 years ago

This is another terrific wine from William Allen. Slightly honeyed nose with a chalky note that comes through on the palate as well. Add apricot, quince, and wildflowers and you have a delicious wine. I paired this with some Maryland Rockfish and the match was a hit. — 5 years ago
Orange Chicken demands this wine. It's mid November and I cannot stop drinking lovely whites and rosés. God bless you @William Allen - Two Shepherds ! — 7 years ago

Amazing Sauvignon Blanc - crisp, tropical grapefruit with zesty lime and refreshing minerality. — 9 years ago
Waited to get home to try this one. The last bottle was corked. This bottle, not nearly so much! After the last bottle was corked, this bottle was opened the next night. Poured a light straw color. Nose of lemon and herbed buttered popcorn. The entry was acidic and dominated by lemon and Asian pear. Middle of this wine is where the buttered popcorn and kernel notes kicked in. The wine finishes rather acidic, but with good weight and density. I still think this one has quite a few years left in it. The next one to drink is the last 2013 for sure. Drink or hold this one another 3 to 5 years. — 6 years ago

Excellent 1er cru from Fevre; thought 2008 acids would never soften; well here is one that is; nice linearity and subtle funk from solids during ferment and monumental malo lactic; yoghurt aromas; terrific drink with sashimi tuna doused with marinated orange and roast sesame; 13% #chablis #chardonnay #minerality — 9 years ago
Had at a wine dinner. Good wine. — 10 years ago
Great vineyard on the southeastern side of Seneca Lake! Newly distributed small vineyard, hand sorted Chardonnay! Balanced French oak, tropical fruit and creamy finish. — 10 years ago

Outdid a 2012 Puligny Montrachet. White flowers, peach, hint of herbal on the nose. Entry is full bodied. Peach, mango, melon, hint of butterscotch. Finished with a nice rounded character but also with just enough of a bite that it made the tongue sting. Ample character. Great balance. But, ready to drink now. Very happy with this one. This is the last one of these that I have and I think I finally timed it right! — 5 years ago
