Great vintage, just released this weekend! Nice amount of pepper on the front, subtle on the back. Can smell it on the nose, some lingering fruit as well. Lovely balance on the palate. — 6 years ago
The nose! Deep dark fruit, a little funk, lots of pepper, little nuances; I could smell this all night. Wine needs some time to open up, a little flat when you pour right after. This is one that needs some patience.
This wine continues to open up. The pepper has layers to it and the fruit is smooth. This is a very nice wine. Would age even a few more years. Jeff is killing it with Boushey fruit. — 6 years ago
Great inaugural Chardonnay effort from Jeff! Nice balance of acidity and neutral oak on this one. Nice price point too. Get it while it’s here (only 90 cases made). — 5 years ago

Officially released! Jeff’s best Gruner to date. Lovely balance of floral notes and acidity. Will be my go-to summer wine. — 6 years ago
Still love this wine. Aging the rest of my bottles but still fantastic with food. Young with lots of pepper and tannins on this one still. Lots of potential the longer you keep it. — 6 years ago
The 2014 W.T. Stony Vine Vineyards Syrah reverberates with abundant blackberry and black cherry notes couched in a complex melange of green hay, black licorice, Chinese 5-Spice, sassafras, roasted meat, and green peppercorn. Medium weight, very Rhône-like in its countenance. Fresh and vivid, nicely balanced, and graced with a minerally vein that suspends itself over the tongue. An absolute joy to drink. Stunning. A great representation of Boushey. Enjoyable now but will only get better with time. — 5 years ago
