Nicely rounded roae. Light fruit, sweet and floral. Really cold w/fajitas and fresh vegi's. — 10 years ago
Commissioned by the Rare Wine Co., made my Vinhos Barbeito. They have resurrected an old, NYC style of Madeira drunk by 19th Cent. aristocrats. Paired perfectly w a stinky, washed cow cheese by Chimay. — 11 years ago
1967 Paije Barbaresco. Drank during Truffle Dinner/Vintage Italian Wine Night at Thomas B's house w K and co. Funky. Interesting. — 11 years ago
Burnside Brewing Sweet Heat, from Portland, Or. A wheat beer w/ 200lbs apricots, and dry hopped w/ Jamaican Scotch Bonnet peppers. Perfect balance of heat, sweet, and Weiss characteristics with a gentle spice lingering in the back of the mouth. Very good! — 12 years ago

Magnum 2008 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. Dinner at Tap w S&L DiM and P&S Co. Super. Loved especially at Susie and Lydia- the Chardonnay lovers. Not overly oaky- just rich and oaky enough to know it's a CA Chardonnay, but not so much that it's buttery and too rich in oakiness. Enjoyed. — 9 years ago

Incredibly aromatic- spiced apple, juicy ripe pear, honeydew and Meyer lemon, yellow flowers and citrus blossom. Notes of lemongrass and coriander--citrusy herbs. Creamy midpalate w/ a lot of lychee nut and fairly high acid. Hmm...possibility of some gewurz co-ferm? The world may never know... — 11 years ago
