Excellent mature balanced Cab Franc without that peppery greenness coming on. Long finish. — 10 months ago
Pineapple, beeswax, pear and wet stone. Rich full bodied Chenin with beautiful acidity. When it’s first opened it had a nice funk of mushroom / wet forest with a clean mineral undertone. Balanced. I want a case stack for the summer. — a year ago
Pale lemon with scents of sweet citrus notes, underripe mango, pear, pineapple core and honeysuckle form the nose of this light white. The palate is round and a little heavy in feel at first, medium acidity, hints of citrus and honey lifts the wine to a medium finish with a mineral character. — 4 years ago

Honeydew and melon. Pineapple. Good acidity to counter sweetness. Off dry. Slight peach hint. Very complex flavor profile with floral aroma. Warm oily mouthfeel. — 11 years ago

Perfectly balanced. Subbed with hot smoked salmon, which otherwise is hard to pair with. I cannot remember a better white wine. $47. — 8 months ago
I tasted this same 2010 about a year ago and wondered it would improve with further aging. I think the answer is yes.
This time around it shows more layered profile, with bruised apple, honeysuckle, beeswax, citrus peel, and wet stone leading the nose. The palate is broad and textured. Acidity has shaved off some hard edges, yet remains focus and intense. Engaging long finish. — 8 months ago

Huge pineapple, peach, jasmine, minerals with great balance and concentration. Had over 3 nights with salad with roasted nuts, goat cheese pasta, and nigiri, delicious with everything. Would love to see how this ages — a year ago
This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — a year ago
Love this. Delicious dark fruits with some funk to go with them. — 6 years ago

Beautiful Loire Cabernet Franc, just a touch of green in the fruit, but with that cool climate feel, long finish, terrific wine, thanks to Eric Texier for telling us (my wine group) that Lenoir was making great Cab Franc!! — 8 months ago
