The bouquet of cherry blossoms and sweet rose petal was so inviting, 90 minute decant and this was ready to go, silky smooth entry, leather, cedar and sweet ripe red fruit. This a really nice wine! I drink each vintage and it's fairly consistent. I paired this Vermentino with an angel hair pasta, bathed in an infused truffle cream and mushroom sauce. All of a sudden my humble California abode felt like I was in Sardinia, Italia! Wine can do that! Isn't that why we love it? BEST with food, warm weather and friendships.
