Comment: Beautifully balanced nose that makes your skin crawl. This Barolo has deep baking spice notes balanced with herbs humid hay and a warm peppery balsamic finish. Pepper hits the palate first followed by dried herbs (organo, thyme) and a slight cherry/strawberry finish. Silky smooth tannins that give this a beautiful mouthfeel! Yum! — 10 years ago

Felsina Chianti Classico. 13.5% abv. Great dark ruby color. Some hint of oak and cherries on the nose. Dry, great acid and body. Smooth texture and medium finish. Great with Calabrese pizza from trattoria da vittorio. — 12 years ago
