Good daily wine. Ok to buy it for daily stock. Bought at Vinos Yamazaki, JPY1480. — 11 years ago
Wow, who knew? I like port so that's a good start - but this has a nice orange chocolate background just perfect to sip for dessert without bring too sweet - love this and I'm not usually a fan of flavored vinos! — 12 years ago
Excellent Spanish red and a happy surprise that we found this in Thailand. 1200baht. Not bad considering the 400% thai wine mark up. Best wine for the price in Thailand so far — 8 years ago
Took a chance on this one. I'm glad I did. Bright and juicy with great tannins. Opened it and left it for a few minutes and it opened up lovely — I loved it even more. So juicy!!! — 9 years ago
There is a very pronounced earthy streak running through this one. The cherry aromas and flavors are there, for sure, but they are struggling to burst through a heavy layer of earthy sediment. I think of it as “dirty cherry.” The rustic nature actually makes me think of rusty, as in a piece of metal covered in iron oxide. The structure is a little weak, but that makes it very sippable. The minerals will go nicely with a piece of lean beef or pork. — 9 years ago
Delicious blend of Verdejo & Viura, excellent for the price. — 9 years ago
Suprisingly complex for a $12 red; dark berries, earthy notes and bright acidity — 9 years ago
Picked this wine up at Central Market on the recommendation of the wine guy. Great with cheese. Dense, long finish with medium tannins. Great wine for the price $13.99. — 10 years ago
This is my new fave! Love it, love it, love it!! Perfect for relaxing on the deck on a summer day. — 10 years ago

Loved this! Kept going back for more. Balanced and refine. A beautiful expression of the grapes and land where they were formed. — 8 years ago
Fun volcanic wine. The scent and taste is not Reductive, it is sulphur, from volcanic soil, not oxygen deprived production. Think of sun baked black lava rocks. Clean sulphur dominate mineral with saline notes. Reductive would be more noxious rubber hose and burnt match. Serve lightly chilled, and think of Sherry or Jura. Instead of briny olive notes in a sherry, the salty herbal note of the wine is more Celery (which pairs well, especially on the first day on the finish). The fruit is soft and ripe, secondary to mineral, and in the category of golden raisin (without the raisin). Color is a solid gold, at purchase I believe it was pale lemon. Drink now, or possibly hold additional 4 years for more sherry-like notes.

Note to self: reminder of how high end sherry hits sweet spot of profundity & shout out loud enjoyment. Flavor wave after wave of salted tofee, burnt sugar, dried porcinis & lord knows what else.Had on own after meal but begs for food too--creamy stinky cheese imaginw — 9 years ago
Very good. Needs time in a decanter as it is still young and tannic. But it opens up and reveals a lot of big dark fruit, leather, tar and coffee, along with sweet oak. Very good wine. Worth putting away for another year, but ready now with a bit of patience. — 9 years ago
This moscato was very light and easy to drink. The melon flavors were very prominent. Little to no acidity. This was delicious. Great for beginner vinos. — 9 years ago
Very good classic for under 20$ — 10 years ago
A rich complex intriguing wine. Dark fruit, nut and pepper. Tannins but not too much. Really amazing value, and for 7 years old still tastes incredibly vibrant. — 10 years ago
Yummy. Ideal for any situation. Smooth and just the right amount of flavour. — 11 years ago
THIS IS AMAZING FOR THE PRICE! — 12 years ago
