Kroatiassa jussina 2016. Eve, Henna, Emilia ja muà. — 9 years ago
Soft raspberry and ripe wild strawberry nose. Wet earth. Palate confirms very soft fruits and light black pepper notes. Medium acidity and medium tannins. Noticeable chocolate and wet brown bark flavors. Bought it at whole foods for like 8 bucks. Had it with coconut veggie curry, really brought out the spice. Finished it with dark chocolate which lent a coffee note to things. — 10 years ago
Just a taste but wow that is tasty. Juicy without the jam and very nice mouth feel. — 11 years ago
Incredible wine. On the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik — 12 years ago
full bodied wine. High in alcohol, but you don’t necessarily taste it. It is well balanced. — 7 years ago

Well balanced, full body, black fruits like plum and dark berries. Hints of leather, nice tannins leave a relatively long finish to the wine. Well done. — 8 years ago
Like a juicy cross between Gamay & Zin, brambly with blackberries. Steep hillsides (hence the donkey working the vineyard) bring a touch of depth to this zippy delight! — 9 years ago
candy shop on the nose, dry fir cone on the palate — 10 years ago
So impressed with this. First Croatian red I've tried. Wine has grip. 100% plavac Mali. Rich fruit. Dark berry. — 11 years ago

I dug this example of the varietal quite a bit. Enjoyed at the lovely Malvasija wine bar in Dubrovnik; seek this out if you want a dry white that is a pleasant sip of white peaches, apples, and lemon meringue. — 8 years ago
Amazing plavac, maybe the best from Peljesac region, high alcohols give a strong sense of sweetness. — 9 years ago

Excellent. Bright and paired well with a pot roast - brought out more acidity and cut through the richness. — 7 years ago
