Dark, intense. Well made Syrah. Donna really loved it so would rate it higher. $28 in PA. — 9 years ago
Love the structure and firm tight feel; maybe too old for some people's taste, but still together, enough flesh to balance, and focussed at 28 years. — 11 years ago
A blend of 67 CS 28% Syrah 5 PV this is made by Gilles nicault who is the winemaker who works will all the celebrity winemakers the fruit is from candy mountain and red mountain this wine has a good punt of dark cherry fruit blackberry fruit with dark chocolate and a good amount of earth loamy notes nice complexity on the nose. A thick and chewy wine on the tongue with ripe round tannins very balanced a bigger wine than the feather but just as nuanced. Finish 45+. Excellent+ — 11 years ago

1999 - typically bronzed at 17 years old - nutty and dried fruit aromas - a little tint of botrytis honey makes it seem like it will sweet - but dry and lengthy taste. Great bargain @28 retail — 9 years ago

This is one of my favorite cabs in the $28 - $36 price point. It's all you would expect from a Napa cab. Perfect for a big red steak or oso bucco. (Or even all by itself) — 10 years ago

Deep ruby color. Expressive nose of blackberries, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Juicy dark fruit on the palate with oak spice and nice tannic texture. Probably drinking near or at its peak right now. Blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petite Verdot with 80% of the fruit coming from the To Kalon Vineyard. Aged 28 months in 55% new French oak. — 8 years ago
GW tasting 9/28/16. Magnum. Nose with less fruit and more oxidative sherry notes that are pleasant. Palate that's very balanced with acids and minerals. Looking complex finish. Excellent. Color that's a bit brownish. — 9 years ago
Had this Aligoté from Bouzeron couple of months ago and was impressed. Revisited last night, same result, fucking love this, and why wouldn't it be awesome with neighboring villages of Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet. I'll throw $28 at this all day. — 9 years ago
