Ian Cauble's recommendation to decant for 30 minutes and serve between 45-50 degrees. We thoroughly enjoyed this dry medium bodied Riesling. — 10 years ago
Ripen cloudberries on the nose. Medium tannins. Nice acidity with a young taste. For light meats and spicy fish. — 11 years ago
Liquid pear-apple. Here we come Fall. — 12 years ago
Crozes-Hermitage gets no respect, but this domaine is bringing some serious wine to table. Inky and intense color. Smoke, game, olives and a burst of violets on the nose. Purity and focus on the entry, revealing succulent, juicy blackberry on the mid palate. Tannins are silky smooth but provide plenty of structure, reminding me of chewing on a soft, ripe blackberry. There’s a tensile quality about this wine- dense on the palate but with plenty of movement. Loving the balance and contrast going on here. Approachable, full of youthful fruit, a little playful and an excellent food wine. Drink now or enjoy for another 5 or so years. — 8 years ago

Insane Calvados from the best in Normandy coming from a blend of 25-30 year old brandy. Toffee, baked apple, almond, citrus fruit, tropical fruit that has you wanting more. Such a complex spirit. — 9 years ago
Apple Mouthfulls ! — 10 years ago
White flowers and touch of honey on the nose. Opens with fruit, apricot, citrus. You can taste the oak from the barrel aging but it's balanced and in the background. A clean finish with a touch of alcohol that seems the only kink in an otherwise beautiful Chenin Blanc. — 10 years ago
1997 vintage. Medium Amber hue. Medium intensity of apples, Perry pears, honey, vanilla. Apple sauce, wood resin, cinnamon, toffee apple. With water added, more wood and vanilla notes to the fore. Very aged. On the palate, off dry, smooth integrated alcohol. Full bodied, pronounced flavour intensity of apples, pears, honey and toffee apple. Long finish, highly complex spirit. — 11 years ago
Good acidity. Nice finish, creamy tropucal — 11 years ago
Smooth, tart red. Nice if you like lighter reds. — 11 years ago

I only wished Americans would get Calvados for what it is and not a cooking additive. $51 / 93pts SWS206 — 12 years ago

Unique, romantic and earthy. Opened up in 45 minutes from glass to glass. 2000 vintage still tight and can easily go another decade. — 8 years ago
