Italian Red. Smooth and medium bodied. Nice. Had with meal at Salumerta Rosi in UWS NYC — 11 years ago
Love the body of this wine. My go to white! — 11 years ago
Seemed maybe a bit beyond its day... had a bit of an odd aroma. But still good and interesting! ... day 2: wow, much nicer. Changed my rating. Opening up recommended! — 11 years ago
This is excellent! And I thought it was cool that I just happened to be reading about Mona Lisa! I guess this wine was bottled at Fattoria La Ripa owned in the 15th century by the one and only Mona Lisa! The label recalls Leonardo's typical back to front handwriting. It's actually very light for a Chianti. Very good! — 10 years ago
Excellent Primitivo — 11 years ago
Sappy cherries, herbs, tobacco, loam. Very complex and structured for a wine with 5yrs. Delicious and calls for a Tuscan T-bone or even Hunter's Style Chicken. — 12 years ago
