A great mixture of zippy acidity and black cherry fruit, with candy-like notes of licorice and red licorice, tea, prickly black pepper and exotic spice, and some wild grassy herbs. Funky and barnyardy on the nose. Light and easy drinking with very little bitterness or tannic influence while still having LOTS of individual character. Fun! Gets a bit sweeter after a two hour decant. — 9 years ago

Spicy touch to your larynx. Almost feels like you're swallowing a spoonful of frosted flakes but forgot to chew them all so they're getting lodged in your throat. Tannins are present and boisterous. Acidity could be a little higher but I'll respectively give this a medium plus rating. Should be accompanied by a healthy amount of horse meat marinated in calf fat.
