2009 Vintage. Clear medium golden colour kind of hints the complexity it has in store. Clean to the nose with pronounced floral and lychee aroma. Medium sweetness with medium plus acidity, it is quite full bodied with some more floral, lychee, and green fruit aroma. Takes them into the finish and leaves a slight bitterness. Spicy touch to your larynx. Almost feels like you're swallowing a spoonful of frosted flakes but forgot to chew them all so they're getting lodged in your throat. Tannins are present and boisterous. Acidity could be a little higher but I'll respectively give this a medium plus rating. Should be accompanied by a healthy amount of horse meat marinated in calf fat. High quality cork. — 11 years ago
